Kite Hindi Bollywood Film of 2010


Kites is a forthcoming Bollywood film to be directed by Anurag Basu,and produced by Rakesh Roshan that will star Hrithik Roshan,Barbara Mori,Kangana Ranaut,Kabir Bedi[1]  and Luce Rains.The film is reportedly a high budget movie and has world rights valued at $25 mollion.[2] The film is slated for release on 21 May 2010.

Kites is about an Indian boy's romentic affair with a latina girl and their predicament as they do not understand each other's language.Hrirhik Roshan plays a salsa teacher.Kangana Ranaut plays a very rich girl and is shown as hrithik's dance student.The story is set in las vegas.so he speaks to her in hindi and yet the two communicate and fall madly in love.But then something happens thatforces the two to split and that's where Kangana Ranaut steps in.

The only thing that keeps him alive is the quest to find the love of his life, Natasha (Barbara Mori). A woman, engaged to another man, but surely destined for Jai. A woman, who comes into his life like a bolt of lightning, and changes it forever.

Release and Production
The Distibution rights of kites have been sold to Reliance Big Pictures For a large amount of Rs.150 crores.It is a record till date for Bollywood.The film is slated for a 21 May 2010 release along with another big film,Rajneeti.

The produtiom in the United States was handled by Bollywood Hollywood Produutions and Line Producer Prashant Shah.It is reported that the filmmakers are in talks with several Hollywood studios to secure worldwide distribution. It is said that it will be released in English, which will be 90 minutes long and the Hindi one will be over two hours long.

Music
The film soundtrack will be directed by music director Irshad Alam and Kanika Arya.
