White Castle - Undercover boss

The White Castle is a novel, which has been based on the "Diaries of Pedro". This is written by Turkish author Orhan Pamuk. This is known as Beyaz Kale in original Turkish.This book is on Historical Fiction.

The story is of a young Italian scholar sailing from Venice to Naples who is make prisoner by the Ottoman Empire. The events of this story take place in 17th century Istanbul. Then after, he becomes the slave of a scholar known as Hoja (master), a man who is of his age, and with whom he shares a strong physical ideas. Then after Hoja and the narrator are introduced to the Sultan, for whom they eventually design an amazing iron weapon. The slave is told to make the master in Western science and technology, from medicine to astronomy. But Hoja feels that why he share his secret to others.
THE WHITE CASTLE is a story of the imagination, as colorful and intricately patterned as a Turkish prayer rug.Translator of this novel is Victoria Holbrook.

About the Auther :Orhan Pamuk is the author of seven novels and the recipient of major Turkish and international literary awards. He is one of Europe's most prominent novelists, and his work has been translated into twenty-six languages. He lives in Istanbul.
