Sixteen-year-old poppy is an LA teen diva who does what she wants, whenever she wants. Though she's handed credit cards with unlimited balances and surrounded by countless hangers on, Poppy can't escape the mounting frustration she feels with her family situation. But once over the time her father one step too far, she feels herself shipped off and everything goes change in British boarding school. No fashionable clothes, No cell phones. Desperate to break free, she sets in motion the ultimate escape plan involving the head mistress’ son – only to discover that this could be the reason she wants to stay.
